Jim Garlow is director of marketing operations for CDW, a leading provider of integrated information technology solutions in the U.S. and Canada. CDW serves 250,000 small, medium and large business, government, education and healthcare customers by delivering critical solutions to their increasingly complex IT needs.
A Fortune 500 company, CDW was founded in 1984 and employs more than 6,900 co-workers. In 2013, the company generated net sales of more than $10.8 billion. Garlow oversees a staff of 40 in the creation, production and product merchandising of CDW’s various marketing vehicles, including catalogs, editorial magazines, direct mailings, email campaigns, online videos, online campaigns, web and brochures. Garlow joined CDW in 1999 as director of advertising and assumed his current role in 2005.
Prior to joining CDW, he held director-level positions in advertising and marketing with Newark Electronics, Moore Business Solutions and Gander Mountain Retail Stores. Jim’s 25 years of advertising and marketing experience positions him well as he leads CDW’s commercial and government programs. Garlow holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from William Penn University and an M.B.A. from Keller Graduate School of Management.
